Marc A. Peter, M.D.

Dr. med. Marc A. Peter is a FMH (Swiss Medical Association) specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. He opened his day care clinic in Winterthur in 1992. After completing his medical studies, he worked at the University Hospital of Zurich for ten years. He has additionally practiced as a surgeon in California (USA) and Spain and has spent six months in Rio de Janeiro and six months in Mexico City operating on patients under the supervision of world-renowned plastic surgeons. During this time, he also conducted a research project using funding provided by the Swiss National Science Foundation.

    • Anatomical study of the osteocutaneous forearm flap including a demonstration of the blood supply in the periosteum of the radius bone (performance of first jaw reconstruction using a forearm flap at the National Cancer Institute in Rio de Janeiro)
