Upper arm lift
It needs to be determined whether the problem has been caused by excess fat in skin that has a high level of elasticity or by loose skin which, in some cases, is combined with excess fat.
In young, elastic skin, fat deposits in the upper arms can be removed using liposuction without the need for any additional procedures (see Figs. 1 and 2). However, when skin on the upper arms and the underlying fatty tissue become older and less taut, the upper arms may also become saggy and loose, making the figure less streamlined. These problems can be corrected by lifting the skin on the upper arms (see Figs. 3 and 4). This procedure is carried out on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.
