Male breast reduction surgery

Enlarged male breasts often cause a lot of discomfort and distress. By partially removing the glandular breast tissue and, if necessary, fat and excess skin, the size of the breasts can be reduced and the chest area flattened.

If the enlarged chest is the result of an excessive amount of glandular tissue in the breasts known as gynecomastia, patients should consider asking their health insurance providers if they are able to cover the treatment costs. Patients will need to cover the costs themselves if the problem has not arisen as a result of gynecomastia.
